CROWN CHAKRA

CHAKRAS

The Gateway to Consciousness.

Traditionally there are seven Chakras and these are the energy centres of the etheric body.

The Chakras lie along the spine and through them a person’s spirit and soul become receptive.

Each Chakra has its own purpose, association and connection. Balancing the Chakras is not only beneficial to well-being but it is also the only way of uniting the Individual Soul with the Universal Soul.

Focusing on the: CROWN CHAKRA

The Crown Chakra is our gateway to higher realms of consciousness. It is where spiritual energy makes themselves felt and the higher Crown Chakra link up to angelic guidance. When this opens fully there can be a feeling of bliss and enlightenment.

In Sanskrit, Sahasrara means thousandfold, a direct reference to the thousand-petalled lotus, sacred to Hindus. According to ancient tradition, this thousand-petalled lotus sits at the crown of the head and represents enlightenment, wholeness and infinity.

Mandalas

MANDALAS

Mandalas are a spiritual symbol and a ritual in Hinduism and Buddhism representing the Universe.
In Sanskrit ‘Mandala’ means both circle and centre, implying that it represents both the visible world outside of us (the circle- whole world) and the invisible one deep inside our minds and bodies (the centre- healing circle) It is the basis from which all Spiritual Mandalas are created. It is a wheel within a wheel representing wholeness and the infinity of our universe.
Spirituality and Peace
There is a peaceful calm at the centre of a mandala that can have a spiritual and healing effect on the viewer. The mandala's centre provides calm and peace amidst your sometimes chaotic life. The gravity at the centre of every mandala attracts and pulls you to connect with your own spiritual centre.
Meditating
Mandalas are commonly used by tantric Buddhists as an aid to meditation.
The mandala is something to be repeatedly contemplated to the point of saturation, so that the image of the mandala becomes fully internalized and can then be summoned and contemplated at will as a clear and vivid visualized image.

Our Mandalas
Our Mandalas come from Indonesia.
Tina and Nathan drove past the little shop every day thinking, ‘No, They will just be way too expensive for us’ Then on the last hour of the last day as they drove past Tina yelled: ‘STOOOOP’ and in they went. The pull of the beautiful designs and colours were just too overwhelming to not.
It is a wee family
business with about 5 members of the family involved in each Mandala. They are all hand made by with each person doing the many intricate outlines by hand and then the different parts all get individually hand dyed.  The family put their amazing loving energy into all of their 100% Cotton Mandalas.

If you have any questions about our Mandalas feel free to get in touch with us. :)

Have a beautiful day :)
